Sustainable Products

We are in the early stages of the raw fiber-cotton fiber-yarn-fabric fashion chain and provide the basic raw material for the textile industry, which is pineapple fiber. We therefore have a dual responsibility to not only make basic raw materials more sustainable but also enable and empower upstream supply chains and downstream value chains to do the same.

Ecofa fibers come from nature and go back to nature. Below are some of the sustainability credentials and attributes of our products
♥ Recover agricultural by-products.
♥ Does not pollute the soil due to not using pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers in growing pineapples
♥ Planting more pineapple fields helps sequester carbon and thus reduce the impact of climate change
♥ The amount of water consumed in pineapple fiber production is very little because of the mechanical production process
♥ Waste is utilized and processed into other products such as: mushroom growing medium, fertilizer
♥ Manufactured using a closed system, minimizing water and energy use

Highlights
Sustainability is at the heart of every action Ecofa takes. Pineapple fibers come from nature and return to nature, leaving a positive footprint on the environment.

Fiber and yarn
Ecofa’s fibers are certified naturally derived eco-reinforced fibers, produced through strict processes that are environmentally friendly and traceable to its origin.

Fabric
Pineapple fabric is a sustainable fabric made from pineapple leaf fibers, which are often discarded as waste in the pineapple industry. With advanced processing techniques, these fibers can be transformed into luxurious, eco-friendly fabrics that are both fashionable and sustainable.

Annnaloop
Annaloop is Ecofa’s fashion brand, specializing in providing high-end products from pineapple fabric..
This natural fabric is a sustainable textile made from pineapple leaf fibers, which are a byproduct of the pineapple farming industry. The fibers are extracted from the leaves, cleaned, and processed into nonwoven mesh that can be used to create a variety of products, including clothing, accessories, and shoes.
Pineapple fabric is an eco-friendly and non-toxic alternative to animal-based materials such as leather, and helps reduce waste by using a material that would otherwise be thrown away.
Pineapple fiber - the solution to marine plastic pollution
Marine plastic pollution is one of the most serious emerging threats to the health of the ocean and a major danger to marine biodiversity. Thousands of tons of plastic leak into the ocean every year. It is estimated that by 2050, the ocean will have more plastic than fish.
Ocean plastic waste could be the next cause of climate change – we need to innovate our way out of this chaos. Although the use of synthetic polymers has eased human life, the disposal of these items poses a special challenge. Most of this ends up in the marine environment through…

Reduce CO2 emissions
With a closed cultivation and production process, Ecofa’s products are recognized as limiting CO2 emissions into the environment.
